Countywide burn ban starting August 9th for 90 days
A burn ban will be in effect throughout Ellis County beginning August 9th and will continue for the next 90 days. This includes a ban on all outdoor burning. The use of gas and propane self-contained stoves and barbeques will continue to be allowed under the ban.
