Current News Around the City
You may have noticed heavy trash truck traffic around the down town area. The reason for this increase in traffic is from the closure of the bridge on South Central. Until this bridge is re-opened the trucks going to landfill will continue to use the service road on I45 to 8th street and back down South Central. They have started the repair work on this bridge. TXDOT stated that the bridge should be re-opened at the end of August or first of September.
